What's the KiiM-FM First Friday Buddy Check?

Your odds of beating breast cancer are more than 90% if you catch it early. This is why self-exams are so important.

The Buddy Check program is a nationwide program designed to promote monthly breast self-exams and educate women about the importance of early detection.

Joining is easy – just text BUDDY to 68683 (standard text messaging rates apply)

1) Get a buddy, someone you care about, your mother, aunt, friend, co-worker, etc.

2) On the first Friday of each month, we'll send out a text message to remind you to do your self-examination and remind your buddy. If you find a lump, call your doctor right away!
